David is guided by Indigenous Elders and community in delivering meaningful programs for people in the criminal, family and youth court systems. David is in Adelaide at the invitation of Uncle Moogy, having worked together for 15 months in Canada.

Dr David Faber bio
David Faber's family is from the Saskatchewan, Canada area. Growing up in both large and small communities across Canada, he has had a wide range of experiences. David was adopted in ceremony by his mother, an Indigenous Spiritual Elder from the Winnipeg, Manitoba area, as well as his Cree brothers' family from Northern Alberta. David has numerous degrees in Finance, Information Technology, and Business with a master's degree in business. He has attended Harvard, and MIT business and technology educational programs.
David has grown up with deep connections within Canadian Indigenous culture. He follows Cree and Lakota Indigenous teachings and is part of, and assists with, ceremony. David works with Indigenous organizations from around the world such as: Initiatives of Change International, based out of Caux, Switzerland, Global Indigenous Dialogue both within Canada and Switzerland, the Parliament of the World's Religions - Indigenous Task Force based out of Chicago, USA and many others. David is working with one of Canada's oldest Indigenous agencies, Native Counselling Services of Alberta, and was the project manager to deliver on Canada's first urban Indigenous ceremonial grounds (Kihciykaw Askiy).
He is currently working on the implementation and development of Indigenous Healing and Wellness Courts across Alberta, Canada as well as the Federal Canadian Governments Ministry of Justice, Indigenous Advisory Group. This work includes introducing new integrated processes, grant and other funding opportunities, wellness planning activities, peacemaking, information system development to assist in communication, and cultural and ceremony directly into specialized Indigenous Courts as well as regular criminal, family, and youth court systems in Alberta and across Canada. He is guided by Indigenous Elders and community, and works closely with Court crown, defense, court staff, Justices, and Chief Justices in delivering Indigenous Strategic plans and operations. Always passionate about Indigenous rights, he champions these projects with passion living an Indigenously rich life.
