Community forum with Senator Sarah Hanson-Young

Did you know the Albanese Government has approved the storage of nuclear waste in your backyard?

The AUKUS nuclear submarine deal is dangerous and expensive. It will put nuclear material in your backyard and lock us in to following the whims of Donald Trump.

Labor is wasting $368 billion on nuclear submarines Instead, this could be spent on easing cost of living pressures and providing services to our community, such as putting dental and mental into Medicare.

Our community deserves better than failed promises on the jobs from a submarine program that are never delivered.

Come along to the community forum and learn from experts about the health, safety and environmental concerns with storing nuclear waste  near your homes, schools and waterways.
