Join the Mayo Greens for a social get together at the beautiful Woorabinda Bushland Reserve in Stirling.
We will meet at the Woorabinda Environment Centre for a shared afternoon tea and move out for some birdwatching following. The event will be on Saturday the 6th of June from 1:00-4:00pm.
We will start with some food and a catch up before heading out to walk around the lake and see how many birds we can spot. We will have bird sheets for everyone and a small prize for whoever spot the most birds.
We are also currently arranging for someone from the friends of Woorabinda to come along and share what they get up to.
Dress for the weather and with some good walking shoes. Also bring some binoculars if you have some. 2nd hand shops often have cheap pairs. Feel free to bring a plate of food for the shared afternoon tea!
This is a child friendly event. We also encourage non Greens members to come along, so bring your non member friends to see what it’s like being in the Greens!
